EAST was founded in October 2007 and has experienced a successfull growth the last 3 years. East is divided in two sales departments East DK and East EU. East DK is located in Ikast, Denmark and has 6 employees. East EU has their office in Dusseldorf and has 4 employees.
Both offices have a showroom. Now we also started in The Netherlands, Den Bosch.

Our heart of the company is placed in Guangzhou, China. Due to our incredible growth we have just moved to a bigger office, where we have room for all of us and space to grow.
We are very proud of our staff here in Guangzhou, where we have approx. 90 workers.
A number, that just seems to increase. This includes pattern makers, fabric girls, merchandiser, production team etc. In addition to our Chinese staff we have a Danish girl, which main focus is to build-up new system for future growth. In our office building we also have our cooperation sample room, where 15 sewing workers make our samples for East collection and customer's proto/sales samples. This also makes us very fast in sampling.

DESIGN - Our Design department designs about 40 styles every week.
Our head of design is a Danish girl named Linda Daugaard. Linda was in charge of setting up the office here in Guangzhou and found the first suppliers etc. One of the advantages in Guangzhou is the big fabric/accessories market, where our designers can find everything.
This also makes it very easy for us to source different qualities, accessories and zippers etc.
It is also possible for our customers also design by themselves and we take care of the rest.
Our lead time is very compatible with 6-8 weeks depending on the approval samples required by customer.

PRODUCTION - Our suppliers are mainly located in Guangzhou. Many of them we have been working with since the beginning. Due to the development we have start to search new area of China with more compatible prices, but still focus on quality and a long-term relationship.
Our philosophy is close relationships, trust and growing together with our suppliers. Furthermore we have performance evaluation and divide all our suppliers in ABC categories.
All our customers are welcome to visit our factories anytime.

QUALITY - To provide our customers with the right quality we also have our own QC - team. This team makes sure that supplier comply with order requirement and our customer is fully satisfied with the goods delivered. Furthermore they also take part in controlling if our Code of Conduct is being followed.
We already worked with CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility and Fair Wear foundation.
